One of the newest commercial airplanes in the sky is the Boeing 737 Max-8. Yet it was involved in two of the deadliest air crashes in the past few years. Yesterday's fatal crash that killed 157 people in Ethiopia and the other air crash - another Boeing 737 Max-8, that crashed in Indonesia not six months ago, killing 189 people.
South African airline operator, Comair as well as airlines from China and Indonesia have grounded all of their Max-8 planes. There are, however, still two major airlines in the USA flying Boeing 737 Max-8's.

14 Vinyl Records Are Worth A Combined US$1.5 Million

File:"В"-диски.jpg

When last did you go through your vinyl collection? Have a look at these 14 vinyls (or LP's as we used to refer to them, back then)....maybe you have one (or more) in your collection. Sadly, I had the Beatles 'White Album' but gave it to my brother in law as a gift many, many years ago without realising the imminent value thereof! I still have a couple of vinyls that I am holding on to, but mainly due to sentimental value.

The Cape Town Cycle Tour (previously known as the Cape Argus Cycle Tour) is the world’s largest individually timed cycle race. As an annual institution, this coming Sunday, Cape Town, South Africa, will host the 41st year of this 109 km event. (I was fortunate to have been one of 35,000 riders that has completed 14 of these cycle tours, until a lung dysfunction caused me to abandon further participation). Every year I sadly miss cycling in this awesome event thus to those who are participating - all the best and ENJOY!

Oh No! That sudden 'splat' and your piece of toast lands on the carpet. You are not going to waste  minutes waiting to replace it....No, simply claim the 'five second rule,' pick the food up, brush it off and you're ready to eat, right? Science says "I think not!".

Where the origins of this five second rule are still in the dark; Genghis Khan seems to get some of the credit for first implementing the rule for eating food from the floor while others credit the fast food industry, so as to reduce food waste. Both seem improbable!
