World’s largest individually timed cycle race
The Cape Town Cycle Tour (previously known as the Cape Argus Cycle Tour) is the world’s largest individually timed cycle race. As an annual institution, this coming Sunday, Cape Town, South Africa, will host the 41st year of this 109 km event. (I was fortunate to have been one of 35,000 riders that has completed 14 of these cycle tours, until a lung dysfunction caused me to abandon further participation). Every year I sadly miss cycling in this awesome event thus to those who are participating - all the best and ENJOY!
