When headlights changed from glass lenses to clear plastic (polycarbonate), something eventually happens to it to cause discoloration. The UV rays from the sun, road debris, salt and acid rain all degrade and discolour clear plastic lenses. To add to the cause is high-intensity headlights (like halogen) generates very high temperatures which also contributes to the degradation. The attached video is an easy way to get your headlights back to new with normal household items - and it only takes you 3 minutes.
I have never commented on a YouTube before but I liked this one so much I just want to tell the creator you did a nice job on the videoo. I'm anxious to try your method. Looks much faster than any of the 3 methods I've used before. Bill C
