A grain-like crop named Quinoa (pronounced KEEN-wah), is grown primarily for its edible seeds. It is a not a true cereal (or grain) but rather a pseudocereal, as it is not a member of the true grass family. Quinoa is closely related to species such as beetroots, spinach and tumbleweeds and is widely considered as one of the healthiest foods of all time.
